  25. Long ago there was an editing system (sound, videotape) made by a
  26. company named Adam-Smith.  It was 286 (pc) based but had (since RT-11
  27. was what most people used and many still do) an 8" floppy drive and
  28. (an important point) could also read DEC formats.  I don't know what
  29. exactly they used for a floppy controller but it might be interesting
  30. to try finding one of those old systems.  There is probably a rec.video
  31. newsgroup where someone would remember all this...
